Games made with passion.
Spaceflower is a small independent studio from Nürnberg, making games we'd love to play ourselves. Our city-builder Let Them Trade is out now on Steam.
Let Them Trade
Build a network of cities that produce and trade resources, upgrade your castle, and protect your towns from cheeky bandits. Tinker with the economy at your own pace and watch a charming wooden world grow into a thriving kingdom.
View on SteamAn economy that runs itself
Cities set their own budgets, buy and sell goods on their own, and pay you a share of every trade. Happy citizens pay more taxes.
Relaxed city-building
Place the buildings, research new production chains, and send your knights to scout new land or chase off bandits.
Campaign, sandbox & editor
Help the king and his trusty advisor Mr. Nuts in the campaign, play freely in sandbox mode, or build scenarios and share them on the Steam Workshop.
A kingdom on your kitchen table
Hi, we're Spaceflower.
We're a team of five from Nürnberg. Since 2019 we've worked out of an old die-cutting factory that we share with our friends at Pixel Maniacs. When we moved in, we spent months scraping grease off the floors, and we planted a tree in the garden. It's still growing, and so are we.
Let Them Trade started as a board game in Thomas's university application portfolio. When we made it digital, the first placeholder houses looked so plain that we gave them wood textures, and the handcrafted wooden look was born.
The game took almost seven years. Money ran short more than once, but we kept going. It's out now, published by Byterockers' Games, supported by FFF Bayern at every stage, with a soundtrack recorded by the Deutsches Filmorchester Babelsberg. Now we're starting on what comes next.
